(Yawn) Morning folks.. crappy weather here, might take dd puddle jumping later. Nothing but organising on the cards this weekend, and determined to get my (our) hospital bags fully packed. Less than 5 weeks to go!

Hey crace dreary here too! 5 weeks wow bet you can't wait! I am spending my saturday as I usually do - chasing up a late payment, traipsing to the bank, tidying, washing etc. BORING.

Puddle stomping sounds much better!

Taking DGD for her first manicure (she turns into a teenager this week)

She bites her nails terribly so I promised her if she didnt bite them for a month, I would take her for one.

She keeps going on about false nails, which I have told her she is far to young for, so this is the compromise.

Well I'm not officially "working" (because I'm not being paid), but I have spent the entire morning doing essential childminding-related paperwork. So I am not happy. What a complete waste of a morning.

i'm still in bed just watching the hits on tv
and messing with laptop

have been up and pegged washing out and made dh breakfast in bed and put a wash load on but now chillin

hennipenni · 19/04/2008 18:31

Evening all, I have done the cleaning today, DH has done the ironing for me, have been earth mother and made homemade soup for lunch and doen a delicious nutricious meal for tea, habv also helped DH to compleylty empty a bottle of wine which explains my spelling!!! how bad am I? Still I'm grown up mow being 40 annd 6 days!

chickenmama · 19/04/2008 20:27

I've had a rather unsuccessful day. Wanted to clean the house as it's a tip from last week but haven't even started that. Went to bank some cheques but forgot my card so couldn't pay in. Ended up spending 2 hrs in town and only bought one top, then popped to the supermarket which took almost 3 hrs! My dd really enjoys going, has so much fun that I don't like to hurry her but I am now wondering if online shopping might be better use of my time!!

chickenmama · 19/04/2008 20:31

Plus I now have a kitchen and hallway full of tesco bags that need unpacking and still have to put dd to bed

KatyMac · 19/04/2008 20:33

I stayed in bed all day

vInTaGeVioLeT · 20/04/2008 10:03

i had ex-mindee for the afternoon yesterday he is ds's best friend so it was great - but very loud and very messy!! it took me ages to clean the playroom it looked like a bomb had gone off and as i wasn't being a c/m i left them to it mainly which is why it was such a bombsite i sooo wish he was still my mindee - i miss him

vInTaGeVioLeT · 20/04/2008 10:04

are you poorly KatyMac ?

ThePrisoner · 20/04/2008 16:26

Another thrilling day ... have been spending the bulk of my time putting together yet another variation request, oh joy. It's the first time I've had to fill in the "grid" from Ofsted. I've had several similar variations from them before, so I'm either suitable or not, so they had better not say no!!

crace · 20/04/2008 17:35

Hey I won't say but if you head over to the PG thread, SB had news to share. Just sayin'

Evening all! Maternity leave starts tomorrow, doesn't it Crace? Have a lovely time, getting ready and enjoy the peae and quiet.

Hope you're OK Katy. Remember, we're here.

Hello everyone else and I will now pop over to see what news of SB - as if I didn't know!

We're just sparkin the barbie up, having spent a very long weekend clearing out DH's workshop. My clothes are layed out ready for work and my bag is packed! Could I be more exicted about wearing nice clothes all day, every day!

KatyMac · 20/04/2008 18:45

I feel lethargic and miserable - I'll get over it

crace · 20/04/2008 19:28

Katy - wassup?

Oh god, Mo, I WISH. 2 more whole weeks. Lots of contrax today which are Not Good and I've had to send away a sample for a possible infection. Ick Ick. Am shattered, and it's going to be a miserable two weeks.

Good luck tomorrows though at school!
