Former teacher who are now childminders, can you give me some advice of the transition? Do you prefer working with smaller group of children in your own home?

Tell me about your experiences? Salary and paying for bills.

So money wise I'm better off with a lot less stress. (Only working 3.5 days) The new funding rate is so good that is really helping this term. Pick your own holiday. Pick your own hours. Coffee when you want it. Loo when you need it. You are in charge of your own day. You pick the parents. You pick the children. You can terminate a contract if you want to. It's the best thing I ever did.
