Best clothes / footwear for safety

Hi,

I know they say to not dress kids in their best clothes if going nursery or childminder - but that’s all I have for now until they get mucky!

What all around shoes are best that are breathable but waterproof for a girl - ideally can be used in winter and summer? I’m thinking trainers but what ones? I guess the second pair of shoes could be wellingtons? Any recommendations for a mud suit?

Also I was thinking more safety than anything - is it best to dress child in bright / distinct clothes so they are more visible when out to the childminder or darker clothes so they are not too visible to predators - as yes I’m trying to cover all bases here!

safety wise is there anything I could buy to have as a safety device - child is 2?

Have you tried talking to your cm who should have her own preferences and methods of keeping Los safe like reins, hi Vis etc
No laces,
No converse,
Loose fit trousers,
Avoid dungarees that don't have poppers or slip on shoulders....or all together for potty training.
If they go to woods avoid one piece puddle suits.
Have a fleece for car journeys
