Urgent help!!! Delayed reconfirmation

I have had tax free/ free hours for 2 children for the last 4 years. Reconfirmation has always been automatic/quick. This time we got letter saying wait 7 days and then another saying wait 10days. It has now been 3 weeks. No new children, our circumstances have not changed (husband salary increased a bit but not over £100,000 threshold even with bonus).
Anyone else had this? Did you call them? Our bill is due soon!!

Yes I usually have this around once a year, usually get a message saying need to ring them with further information.

How close is your husband to the 100k threshold? Mine is close & they always ask me to confirm he wont go over 100k, I say no he wont & they approve it instantly. So pretty pointless exercise IMO.

But just call the helpline if you’re concerned, I’ve always found them pretty helpful. And despite the letters saying 10 working days for a response Ive always found it takes longer.

Thank you! He is a not that close but think he looks closer because got bonus that is bigger than normal is April/May but even with that over the year he will not get £100,000. I will give them a call next week. Thanks

Hi @BeccaNight did you get this resolved? I’ve been waiting almost 4 weeks now for my reconfirmation. I’ve called twice and been told there are lots of delays. Also very stressed about it.
