Tax free child care

My childcare payment is due today. I transferred my money direct from my bank to my tax free childcare account, it has left my account but is still not in my childcare account. It says it’s usually done within 2 hours and I did it at 8am this morn. It says it can take up to 24 hours but will it clear at a weekend?

The bank faster payments system had issues yesterday, so I expect that is the issue.
It may show in your tax free childcare account over the weekend, so if it does you can then push the button to make payment to childcare provider. But a payment won't go out to your childcare provider until Monday at earliest.

You should always do it in the morning of a normal working day if you want to be sure it goes in on time. They won’t get payment until Monday at the earliest now.
