I am eligible to claim 85% of childcare costs back but I have no idea how to upload the invoice and proof of payment. I can't find anything about it online. Can someone help me please??

Do you have an account set up? On the homepage there's a report childcare costs button. This will guide you though what you need to do. Think it asks about invoice period and then takes you to a file upload page where you upload invoice and proof of payment.

Open your UC online account. Press home and scroll down until you see report childcare costs. Click that then follow the steps. You have to upload proof of payment like a bank statement and an invoice from provider. You can only upload 5 documents, so just report a few costs, then press finish and start again if you have more to send.

I think this is why I'm confused. I don't have this option on my home page 😕

Might be worth asking them in the journal, maybe something has gone wrong in your account. This is what it looks like for me on mobile browser:

Would it only show up if your eligible for the childcare costs? I'm not sure what the eligibility is.

They've told me I am eligible and they paid my first month for me. I wonder if it's because they haven't "logged" that I've started work yet. They haven't even answered a note in my journal from a few weeks ago!

Have a look under report a change. Childcare may be there.

Good shout! I found it! Thank you so much! Do you know how long they usually take to process after submission? I need to pay my rent a week after the invoice is due so I wanna make sure I have enough for that! I can't afford both
