Using tax free childcare to pay maternity pay for nanny

I've spent all morning trying to find out whether we can use tax free childcare to pay our nanny's mat pay but there doesn't seem to be any specific guidance out there. Does anyone have experience with this?

You can claim it back from the government.

You can use the vouchers if the mat nanny is ofsted registered.

I doubt you'd be able to use tax free childcare as you claim the money back.

Or are you enhancing her mat pay?
