Hi, My LO swallowed 5p.Went to A&E, they did x-ray and told us to wait for it to pass naturally as it was already in stomach.Been so worried since.It came out today after 5 days but it is all black. I am worried what’s wrong? My daughter is fine?

If you are sure it was just a 5p coin she swallowed, and the X-ray would have confirmed that, then there’s nothing wrong, so stop worrying.
The reason the coin has ‘returned’ blackened is due to the normal stomach acid and digestive juices it encountered on its way through the digestive system.
