Can't find childminder on tax free childcare website?!

I'm hoping someone can give some thoughts - any childcare providers/childminders here? Our childminder just registered with the tax free scheme and got their account set up yesterday but they're not searchable with postcode, Ofsted registration number or name. Does anyone know whether it usually takes a long time/several days for a newly registered provider to show up on the government tax free childcare providers list for parents? Keen to pay her and ideally not outside the scheme

Try with her ofsted number too and it must be written like this

EY123456 AB123CD

Only a space between then, no space in the postcode. Ofsted number may or may not have Ey at the beginning.

@BusyCM thank you I have tried all that and she still doesn't come up. Should she be showing up by now, having got the registration done yesterday? X

Because cms work alone at their home address they can choose not to be found by postcode search. To find me you have to enter my EY number and my postcode.

Thanks for pitching in. I did enter her CM number together and also separating the EY from the numbers, just in case, and still nothing. Same with postcode and her name (surname and first name alone and together) Dunno if it takes longer than a day for the government system to update once the CM has registered?

I'd imagine so

Usually need to put in details as above but I've seen a bit of chat recently saying parents have needed to put a space in the postcode for some cms which is new

Managed to resolve it by calling the helpline. They talked me through how to search, sharing in case any CM or parent faces the same issue:

Enter the registration number of the provider in this format: EY123456 (space, then postcode) eg CM71BB. The capital letters matter.

So the whole search was like so:
EY123456 CM71BB.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help x

That's exactly what I posted as your first reply.

Glad you're sorted.

Ah, omg! I didn't understand it like that. If only I'd understood, would've saved me so much time. I kept entering the two codes by themselves rather than together with a space between- duh!
