My son Liam is not going to school and I don't know why

This feels like the start of a poem.

Maybe he's feeling kind of shy

Poor Liam

My son named Liam is not going to school and I could cry

I have no idea why Liam doesn't go to school

If this is a genuine request for help then the obvious answer is to talk to him, his other parent, the school, possibly a GP and find out why and get some support in to get him back in.

If he is a teenager and truanting then you escort him to school yourself and ensure he goes through the doors arrange with school he goes through the main entrance.
If he is truanting with friends then you might want to look into changing schools, additional vulnerabilities and the potential for county lines involvement.
