Entitled to childcare element of UC if our first payment is £0?

Does anyone know if we’ll be entitled to the 85% back in childcare costs if our first UC payment is £0? We’ve requested an advance which lets us borrow up to £1030. Does this mean that in our next payment we should be receiving more than £0? And if we are actually not entitled to any money, are we entitled to the help with childcare? It’s all so confusing 😩

Did you hand in your childcare costs? If you look at your statement it will tell you what your deductions are, the advance is usually not an indicator of what you will actually get but is I think what your basic entitlement is before everything worked out. My friend applied took the advance and wasn't actually entitled to any further help she then spent 12 months paying them back, I think this is how there was all that fraud in the pandemic as alot of people opened them and they system allows everyone to get the advance. If you use the website entitled to it should give you guidance to what you should expect.
