Childcare code not come through

I still haven't received my code for the 15 hours free childcare for my two year old. Does anybody know when I need it by to ensure I will get the funding from April this year? Is it 29th Feb as my childminder seems to think so?

Each Borough is different, mine is 18th March.

Have you checked the portal? When is your renewal date? Some have been sent by post.

To be eligible it’s 31st March, however many settings have an earlier date, to make sure they actually get paid.

The childminder may be due to submit her estimates which is why she’s asked for the code by the end of the month. Without submitting the estimate she may have to wait till the middle of the term to be paid (depending on what your LA payment schedule is).

I received a temporary code as my reconfirmation window doesn't open until 12th march so they said they'd provide a temp code in the meantime.

Just call them up and they'll give you a temporary code. It's wherever you care provider needs it. Our nursery creates invoices mid-month so needs it by then.
