UC and childcare

I am applying to UC and I need to place my daughter in nursery so I can start working. However, I am not sure where I will be putting her yet. If I continue the application without including childcare costs and update my journal later when she starts nursery, will I be able to still get paid for the first month I paid in full alone? Also, if so, would that money drop with the following UC payment?

I'm not too sure, but if you put a note in your journal your uc advisor should be able to help.

Child care costs come later anyway as they are paid retrospectively
