Are your wages keeping up with childcare costs rising? We've had a 20% increase in 2 years, but it's so hard to find anywhere else with space.

Settings have been chronically underfunded for years. They’re now scrabbling about trying to make things work due to the new funding coming in. Many have raised their prices under inflation rate for many years but now have to make up the shortfalls, it’s a reason why some have raised their prices more the last couple of years.

sadly, mortgages, bills and supplies have gone up dramatically as have staff wages.

Yeah but isn't there more the government can do?

Of course there is but they won’t. Instead, they make promises they can’t keep and knowingly underfund settings.

Govt underfunding + wages increasing (rightly) + utilities and food costs rising will all result in it rising much faster than your own wages.

Wow, yeah what do you think, conflict of interest?
