Sorry, I am sure the question comes back often, I read a few pages back but didn't really find the answer.

I have over 15 years experience, a child development related diploma, great references and my last 2 families were long term.

Central London, Zone 1 or 2. Around 25/30 hours a week. Would asking £17/£18 net per hour (obviously, I'd agree to a gross rate, that would be £22/£23 gross per hour) too much? It seems a lot to me but then every nanny around me seems to be asking £18 to £25 net per hour...

I haven’t used a nanny for a few years but 2-3 years ago we were paying £15 p/h net for someone with about ten years experience. Is it worth calling a nanny agency and asking what their Nannie’s are on? They’d be your best source of information I’d have thought

Agencies in SE/SW advertise 15/16 net so central London might be higher
