Wrap around care

Can a breakfast and after school club part of a school refuse a child who isn't toilet trained? A 3 year old who isn't out of nappies and attends a nursery part of a school?
Thanks

Yes

Most schools wouldn't take a nursery child in to wrap around even potty trained . Can't you find an alternative like a childminder?

They do take nursery children, it's just slightly more expensive which is fine. I will ask when I go in Monday, there's nothing to specify they don't take nursery children in nappies.
Unfortunately the childminder my child usually goes to is not able to do the school runs as already has 2 other school runs elsewhere (she did try for a week but unfortunately wasn't possible) Finding another childminder is proving difficult as all full. I'll just wait and ask on Monday. Thanks

They probably don't have the staff or facilities to change them.

Yes they absolutely can refuse. Before and after school clubs don’t have the same staff as nursery’s and usually far fewer people so wouldn’t be able to change nappies. No harm in asking but I’d expect a no, but I also don’t know any that take nursery children
