Two year old moving from childminder to nursery - nervous!

DS is two end of Jan. Has been with CM since Jan 2021 and has settled in. Its him and another two boys of similar age and they all get along nicely.
We've moved and the CM is too far away sadly, so we have found a nursery around the corner. I think they have about 70 kids in total, with maybe 20 or less in the 2-3 year old room.
Im nervous for the little guy... big changes recently for us as family and a long Christmas break attached to me. I feel bad as he doesn't know whats coming, but we will support him in every way of course. Any tips on how to make the transition as smooth as possible? Thanks x

To add - he'll be there full time 8-5, which was the same for the childminder settting.

How has your nearly 2 year old been with a childminder for 3 years?

Have you got a decent settling in programme planned? This is key, always.

That's an error, I meant Jan 2023 :)

Yep we have a three day settling in programme for now.

It may take a little while to settle in but if you have a settle plan in place then that’s good. It will be so good for him though.
