Can you tell me your ideals for a childminder?

I'm setting up as a childminder and wanting to be a safe haven I suppose. From a parent's point of view what would you like to see and what would make you use a childminder/stay with a childminder/recommend a childminder? Thanks!!

I loved my childminder as I could see she really cared about the kids she looked after. She was flexible on timings, reliable and had good facilities at her home. She also look the little ones out to groups everyday and did lots of other outings too.

Location... I would want them to be able to walk safely to a wide range of facilities (toddler group, school pick ups, a park, natural area like a woodland and perhaps a museum or soft play). I wouldn't want daily trips in a car.
Good size garden and playroom.
