Is anyone on here registered with Bubble Sitter to offer child sitting services?

I joined a few weeks ago, have applied to quite a few advertised jobs, but never chosen. I've also got my pay per hour at minimum wage.

I have a great profile and experience to offer.

Is anyone on mumsnet who could offer some advice please? Is it that hundreds apply to every job going and it's the norm to apply to a lot?

I’ve done over 900 sits on bubble. It’s very review led so best to get someone you already sit for you to book you through the app and leave you a review. They don’t allow hundreds of people to apply for sits. It maxes out at about 10 I think

Almost two years on and I am on sit number….3.
It is very tough. Bubble also take a percentage off your sits so don’t go down too low as it won’t be worth your while.
I would recommend looking out for sits that start quickly (if that is a possibility) say someone needs a sitter in the next hour or two for example. Ask bubble for free promotional material too. They gave me free leaflets

Spot on advice. I did this when I was on Catinaflat and got others on there too. You just have them book you a day. Once I had a good review I was off and running.

I had a lovely little area, was always busy and earned £1000 every Xmas. Seed that first review.
