Tax free childcare on maternity allowance

I'm currently 5 months into maternity leave and have been getting tax free childcare for my 2 year old since I went on maternity

I earn maternity allowance because I hadn't worked in my job long enough to get statutory maternity pay but for some reason this week I'm apparently no longer eligible? Can anyone help me understand if this is correct or if there had been a mistake?

www.gov.uk/tax-free-childcare

From my reading of that page, being in receipt of only maternity allowance you're not earning enough to be eligible.

Yep it's just smp that counts for tax free childcare, maternity allowance is not counted as income.
