PAID INCORRECT PROVIDER

Hey

I am hoping someone is able to help me, or possibly made the same mistake as me! My sons preschool has the same name as another preschool in the same village but completely different businesses.

I paid the incorrect provider and they have said they have not received any money, but the government account team have said it definitely went to their account.

Has this happened to anyone before? It is an awful lot of money for me to lose, and to try and find to pay the correct provider.

Completely my mistake, but same name and same village, bound to happen at some point!

Have you contacted the nursery you paid and asked them if they've received the payment. I'm sure they'll be able to reverse the payment.

It can take a good few days to reach providers, but they will be able to refund you if they do get it.

Hey, Yes I have contacted them and they said they haven't received it and contacted their bank with a personal transaction number (provided by the government childcare services) and the money still hasn't been located.
