Taking dinner to childminders

Hi, my son has dinner 1 day a week at the childminders which I provide. I've been giving those kids ready meals for ages now but feeling like a bad mum! What does everyone else do or am I just worrying too much? Thanks

Batch cook and send yesterday's leftovers.

I used to send a bit of something like curry, and then microwave rice as she wasn’t allowed to heat up cooked rice.

I would save portions of normal family dinners and freeze them. Then send one whenever you need to.

I don’t think one ready meal a week is the end of the world at all. Something easy like tomato pasta salad or chilli could work well though.

Just send them with a sandwich/yoghurt/fruit ... it's only one meal out of 21 a week
