Hi everyone, my daughter has just been accepted for DLA middle care and low mobility from June. I believe this means I can claim carers allowance. I’ve just left my part time (nights) job last week as it was getting too much for me , i earnt £800. However I left last week, does this mean I can claim cares allowance, as of this week? I won’t be expecting a back payment from carers as my earnings before was over the carers allowance limit
Is this right?
Thank you x

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yes you can. They are brilliant at working it out for you. By time it comes through you will be entitled to some back pay.
Give them a ring.

My partner stopped work to care for his dad and he applied for carer’s, it was done and backdated in a week.

How long did it take to process your careers allowance
