Hi all,

I am a nanny with 20 years experience and good qualifications. I have just been approached about a job with one year old triplets in London and I'm not sure how much to charge?
The going current rate is £20/21 ph but I've not had triplets before.
If you're a parent how much would you offer?
Or any nannies on here who could recommend?

Remember you would be providing accommodation and weekends off plus perks like use of your WiFi and unlimited snacks/hot drinks.

Providing Weekends off? That’s not something of note when discussing salary! Days of it just, y’know, legal!

and since when are hot drinks a perk?! Oh lord

I already said perks was a wrong choice of words but please feel free to keep banging on about it.

Who has time for WiFi, snacks and hot drinks with triplets?

Depending on how you structure their day.
I have a timetable for them and they tend to take nearly two hours naps from noon where i relax.
An hour of cocomelon or Learn with Miss Rachel in the morning keeps them engaged as i make the meals for the day and they are in bed by 7:30pm when i tidy and clean up then it’s me and hubby time.
Sometimes they get up and fuss so we move them in to our room and back once they fall asleep.
I get to use the internet and read a chapter in my book randomly. Its hard but not impossible you get used to it but are mostly exhausted.

I was exhausted with one 🤣 but he was (and still is) a terrible sleeper and an early riser. But I suppose with 3 they'll interact with each other and keep each other company. My ds needs a lot of adult interaction . Fair play to you. I'd never manage 3

Because they are three they are never bored but am constantly separating the first and last. The middle cannot be bothered.Non are picky eaters so they just have a smaller plate of what i have so no special cooking. You never know what you are capable of till it happens to you….How old is your little one?.
