Hi All
We are from Ukraine. We've been living in England for 1 year. Here I'm with my son and mom. My husband is in Ukraine.( he works with the military).
My son attends St John's green primary school. It was very hard for him to start education in a new school far from home and with not native language. He was afraid because of the war in Ukraine and very nervous. But now all is well with him. He likes school and has new friends But it's a very hard for me to drop off/picl up from schoo; because of my work
I really need help. Because I have to work, pay bills, and buy food etc. And I don't want to change school for my son because it will be stressful for him. Maybe you know how I can sort it? some special services, taxi, buses, nany?
thank you all!!!

You need childcare - either before and after school clubs or childminder . Look in your local area

Does your school have breakfast/after school club? Check the school website.

Other options would be to look for a childminder in the area who could pick up your son and look after him until you are finished work. Or you could advertise for an after-school nanny who will pick him up and care for him in your home, but that will be much more expensive and you need to be willing to do the admin that goes with being an employer.

If you are in any local/school Facebook or WhatsApp groups, try posting on there to see what advice people have?

I would ask locally to see what childminders are available. Or could your mum do the school runs if you are living with her?

What area is that ? You can look at the council to see what cm are about

Or ask at school

Do you have a class wats app group and ask about cm or after school club on there
