Cafcass has recommended my son who is 7 tp spend every other weekend with his dad and every Tuesday after school until 6:30 pm. He is currently Sundays from 12 until Monday with his dad and Tuesday as cafcass recommended. Cafcass recommended half of holidays with his dad.

I would like my son to continue to see his dad every Sunday instead of every other weekend as i think it won't be nice to see him just every other weekend and also as there are a lot of issues regarding his dad looking after well properly.
Also, i have heard most of the time kids spend 2 weeks with his dad over the summer holidays. Having the 2nd hearing very soon.

Have you have an arrangement dictated bu the court seeing the dad every weekend instead of every other weekend?

During the school hoikdays how many weeks are your kids with his dad?
His dad wanted 50 which i disagreed.

Unless dad has a history documented by social services he has as much right as you. Can you prove he's neglecting his child or is it just not doing it your way. I have 7 year old mindees who spend a week with each parent

Is the new arrangement he picks up from school but does no morning school runs? Does he have the capacity to look after the child half the summer?

Every other weekend and a day in the week is fairly standard OP unless there is proven abuse.

It's actually probably better for your son to have one full weekend with dad.

Was dad abusive or violent at all?

So the same amount of time just split different?

Saw dad every sunday 1-4pm, Every tues- friday after school. Spent a week there every month and usually 2 weeks of summer break (plus anytime i rode my bike over to visit)
