Hey

My child turns 3 next month. Went onto my government gateway and applied it says not eligible for 30 hours (which I already know) if I would like the 15 I don't need to do anything but contact my childcare setting to arrange.

I'm so confused. I have a confirmed secured place in a pre school to start in October. I have already confirmed it will be funded for a few days a week. Do I not need a code or something ? FTM and very confused.

Thanks

I think the nursery do the universal 15 hours for you

No code for the universal 15 hours needed.

Although you'll have to pay until January, he won't be finded until the new term.

The 15 hours is from the academic school term after the child turns 3. If he is turning 3 next month he isn't actually entitled to the 15 hours until January.
You need to talk to the pre school because they might charge you for October - December.
