Mother's help ratees

What is the going hourly rate these days for a mother's helper? It's been described to me as a bit of babysitting, a bit of helping around the house with tidying, helping to prep meals etc., I think typically when the mum is at home. The helper in question is almost 15.

My daughter has been offered an opportunity to work as a mother's help, and we're trying to work out what she should charge for this

From what I’ve seen on childcare sites, would think around £10ph is average for that sort of thing.

You need to look at the legal position to employing children.
Also, ‘mother’s help’ is such a sexist term!!!
