Anyone else locked out of childcare tax account?

Just that, long story but I’m locked out as fluffed up the security questions this month. Called up and went through the awful task of trying to reset the password - the reset email hasn’t come through and they just keep telling me to wait. Meanwhile can’t pay nursery fees as the money was in the account - I locked myself out trying to set up payment!! They reckon it’s happened to loads of people…

Anyone else… I’m so annoyed as everyone I speak to is so unhelpful and just keeps fobbing me off with wait another day or two for the email to come through.

I've recently had the same problem. I've accidentally got my security questions wrong. I'm due to pay the childcare bill tomorrow but unable to do so as I'm still waiting for the password reset from HMRC. Did your email come through in the end?

i locked myself out due to incorrect answers
and they wont unlock me as I submitted the reconfirmation of the next period of 3 months and until they deal and close that they wont unlock me
who created this rubbish system… unbelievable
i have to pay the bill and dont have money anymore

I am in the same sitiation and I know this thread is old but is there an update to the situation?
I also want to shed some light to stressful mums who did everything correct. I set up account 5 months before I need it. I can log in up everytime until one month before when they ask security answers (after 5 months of not asking security answers) so I got it wrong. Then I phoned and they ask another question (how long you live in this property) and that was wrong. I phoned the third party they used (equifax) and they held wrong info on me and my address does not exist on their system and told me I have to get royal mail to upload my address for them to upload on equifax system. Royal mail has my address so equifax is the one who got wrong info on me and hence I am logged out of gov account (because gov gets info from equifax to verify me)
Now I have to send 2 certififed Id (by post). It has been nearly a month now just to set password and I wont be able to renew my childcare code on time just when I need it for the first time - unbelievable. The question is I have proof equifax held wrong info on me now, but will gov backpay or compensate the money I pay to nursery as I could not renew my code on time because I am logged out by third party info Gov use (equifax).Or will they say no it is not Gov technical issue and push the blame...
