Advice on finding a nanny

Unfortunately my lovely nanny retired this month and I have been struggling to find another. I've signed up to childcare.co.uk and joined a few nanny FB groups. I'm wondering if it is because I only need 2 full days (Thursdays and Fridays) and the candidate needs a car?

Can anyone give me any pointers of other avenues to explore? I know quite a lot of nannies in the area (West London), who have told me that many are leaving the industry. Is part-time no longer attractive to candidates? I was hoping this may be the best time to search, since many children will be starting school in September.

Thank you for your reply HacketGreen. Greatly appreciated. It matches my thoughts. Unfortunately a car is fairly essential because without one it will really limit where they can go with the children. Despite living in London public transport near me isn't great eg. 1 hour or more to do a 10 minute drive. I'm a Mum to two preschoolers and so I don't have any school connections yet but I have been connecting with a lot of nannies at playgroups (I found my first nanny through word of mouth). My husband primarily works from home, but he is in an office in the garden and so he's not in the house most of the day.
