Not really sure what to do about this situation, we have lived in a quiet cul de sac for 9 & half years where me and my husband have raised our children who are now 9&10, our close has always been lovely, lots of families and the children playing out after school when it's nice, we have had this women move in who is on her own with two grown up sons that live at home but don't see the light of day.
A few months ago the boys were playing football (with a soft ball) and it accidentally hit a neighbours car, no damage or anything it was a genuine accident, well she flew at the kids shouting at them and made one of the girls cry, the girls mother went round and told her she couldn't shout at her child and she went off on a massive rant swearing and all sorts, she then proceeded to put on Facebook that the children in the street were vandalising cars (they are between 12 months and 11 years)!
Obviously friends on her Facebook who don't know any of us starting slagging us all of saying we are chavs and slating our children not knowing what really happened!
My children are that scared to play out they take their goal over to the green over the road as they will not go out in the street, this women has recently found a new fella, he is an intimidating man, they walked into the close yesterday after not playing here for months for her to make a smutty comment and him to glare at them! There young kids! I don't know what to do but I feel so uncomfortable about her and him, would just like some advice, she has single handed ruined our nice street 😞

What's that got to do with paid childcare?

In that case you might want to ask Mumsnet to move your thread, Op.

Why? And why would you be so rude when I just need advice?

It's in the childcare section, that's why they've mentioned it

Because you will get more replies if your thread is under the correct topic.

I am not being rude at all. You are though.

Ok sorry I must have got it wrong, maybe you could have just pointed me in the right direction rather than being so rude, wish I hadn't bothered.
