Au pair agencies - interview fee, is this normal?

My DD has applied to a couple of agencies to au pair in France next year. One has got back to her and is keen to interview her, but has requested a €30 interview fee. Thereafter if she gets matched she pays €70, which I can understand more tbh.

is this normal? It’s a US agency (DD didn’t notice), so probably used to more admin for visas and suchlike, which DD won’t need as a EU citizen, but is an interview fee a thing nowadays?

as an aside are there any agencies you would recommend instead?

TIA
