Tax Free Account - forgot about the limit and short

As the title says, completely forgot about the £500 / quarter limit so the top up hasn’t totalled up to the bill. Can I top up the account without it impacting any future limits etc or am I best sending the money to the nursery separately and doing the two transactions?

anyone else done this?

You can add more, you just won't get the top up.

Or just pay from your account, it works out the same.
