Why are the decisions taking so long 😫 rang up 2 weeks on run just to be told another 3 weeks
I don’t get it my friend got hers 4 weeks ago of one page diagnosis and full rate my child’s is 20 pages.
I can’t believe I’m in week 14 and still not with a decision maker.
i just don’t seem to think it’s fair I am unable to work certain hours for my child’s needs after school in have become self employed to meet needs.
it’s taken 4 years to get diagnosis due to Covid.
and I receive zero benefits so Dla is a huge huge help at the min and a long time coming as she is now 11

does anybody else feel my pain 😫😫🤣🤣🤣🤣

We are heading for 13 weeks so I feel your pain. Also absolutely terrified we won’t be accepted 😩 I sent in the paediatricians report with referral for autism assessment, speech therapist report and my sons nursery report too. Along with these I wrote an extra five pages myself detailing the extra care he needs. I can’t help but still find myself worried it wasn’t enough. I haven’t rang in yet, I was waiting until the start of next week maybe, I think deep down I know I’ll be devastated to hear over the phone the words ‘turned down’ or ‘not accepted’ and I’d probably cry on the phone, I feel I’d rather wait for a letter, compose myself and then ring to ask for a reconsideration. Good luck to you for this week, I’m hopeful you’ll hear something soon ❤️
