Advice from registered childminders please.
So on Monday gone, a child came in with hfm and as the blisters became apparent at this point was sent home. A few days later other children had very high fevers and sent home, spots have appeared on Friday gone, parents agreed this is hfm. I'm in a position now where I think I may well be coming down it with it myself, fever chills sore throat.im aware the spots come a few days after symptoms begin. My sickness policy is 7 days off with hfm so the children sent home on Thursday won't be back till then. I'm wondering though if u close to my other mindees tomorrow I know I will need to refund the charges as they pay in advance but what of these children who currently have hfm and not due back to Thursday. As a childminder in this position would u pay them their fees back or keep the money as they are unwell and not able to return till Thursday. Advice appreciated thanks

Keep the fees.
They were already off sick before you became sick...and it's them that have made you sick!!
