My DD is going to start going to childminders at the start of the next year. The childminder we have picked has a lovely setting (her house is very well equipped) and she has lots of positive reviews. So we signed a contract with her.
This morning through Facebook suggestions I found her profile. All is well no massive red flags as such but trashy pics in somrwhat revealing clothing showing off her many tattoos.
Yes I have a tattoo too ,but the whole thing together just looked distasteful.
I cannot help but feel worse about my daughters placement now.
Am I wrong to feel this way?

I don’t think you are.

Its what YOU feel comfortable with, not anyone else.

Ha!That's funny and perhaps true.
Thanks
I'm simply used to seeing very put together teachers etc.

Teachers have a dress code which includes covering tattoos. Doesn't mean they don't have them either

You feel what you feel, I don’t personally agree but that’s irrelevant. If you decide to carry on with the childcare, you can’t let these judgments come between you though, that would be totally unfair. Either you drop it or find someone else.
