So I really wanted for baby to have red hair but they came out soooo dark. Partner is red. Just wondering if anyone had a baby with dark hair and it went red? At what age did it start to turn?

my daughter was born with a hairstyle much like her dad’s! Short, straight, black… now red curls.

Dd's was brown for 4 months. One day I seriously asked older dc if they had drawn in her eye brows as they were orange!! Strands of orange hair started coming in!! Long ginger hair before 18 months!!

DS was mousy with a hint of red, went bald and grew back like this ...

I had very dark hair when I was born, but red started coming through at about 6 months. It never went fully red, but is a Reddy brown chestnut kind of colour. I have always been asked if it is dye.
