Naps in buggy

Hello, my little girl is starting with a childminder soon. It's my own fault but she naps in her buggy during the day for her nap. I always went walwith her after her lunch, she falls asleep and that was it I'd leave her there for an hour and a half. What is people's experience with childminders and the child doing their nap in the buggy? I can't see my one going down in a cot & I know there are regulations which I totally understand. Thanks

Both of mine napped in the buggy and it hasn’t been an issue. The other kids there nap in travel cots upstairs and mine nap in the buggy by the patio doors.
I think my childminder actually prefers it as if she’s out for the day she isn’t restricted by nap times

It's not a problem. My sil is a childminder and all her mindees nap in the buggy so she can go out and about with them.

Oh thank you, that's good to hear. I'll be meeting her soon to have a chat. It's what works for me so hopefully she will be ok with it. Good to hear your experience thks😀

Childminder here all my mindees either nap on the sofa or buggies purely for safety reasons in the event of an emergency I need all children close by for if we need to evacuate. Some parents who only use cots for naps don't like it but are on board when I explain the safety reasons.

Childminder here but NI so different rules. I'd say you'd be happy to write a letter to say your dc is used to napping in buggy & you're happy for them to do so.

The timings may be the issue for CM if there's school pick ups so may need to nap in the car

As long as its a flat buggy it should be fine they must sleep flat....was brought in with the last eyfs changes. Sign a note saying your happy for her to sleep in a buggy.
