What do you expect from your live in mothers help not just job wise but out of hours - that they stay in their room and give you your own space etc

TIA

Hmm, I had this problem with my last mothr's help. She followed me round day and night, it drove me up the bloody wall and she didn't stopping talking.

After a month we decided she should leave.

Since then I've got a live out help and she's great. When she leaves in a couple of months I'm debating whether I can face getting a live in again.

If I did I would be very clear on the expectations I had regarding privacy and space in the evenings.

Yes be clear, I'm the type of nanny who will disappear the second I can to my room and not bee seen- unless they need extra help!- you never know the personality of the potential helper till you meet them. Would recomend two interviews, and ask about social life and privacy. In responce to your question direct- every single person will have different views.
