Hello - our nanny of 7.5 years is leaving to join another family and I think what we need now is a nanny housekeeper (our DC are 8 and 10). However I've read different things about what a NHK actually does so would be grateful for any experience!
Would a NHK expect weekly cleaners in addition to asking them to keep the house tidy? Would they do family washing and cook all meals for children and some for us? We are looking for some one afternoons to evening term time and full days in holidays.
An agency suggested £15ph gross (we are in Sussex). We have 2 bed totally self contained annex so could offer live in but unsure how that might affect wage?
Any experience of a nanny housekeeper would be great.
