Hi all,
Ftm here so all this is new to me.

Can anyone recommend which would be better for help with childcare costs, wether it be universal credit or tax free childcare? Who pays quicker?
Whats easiest to use?

My husband was receiving universal credit whilst he wasn't working however now he is, I have been reporting our childcare costs with them but I have no idea when I will recieve any money back from them? When I spoke to someone on the phone last the person wasn't much help!

Thanks x

you will only be eligible for childcare costs if both of you are working. there is no limit on the number of hours but both must be working to get the up 85% towards costs.
