I have advertised my services on Gumtree, Nannyjob and made my own site - I have got all the families I babysit, singing my praises to anyone and everyone they know who might need childcare, I am registered with a couple of nanny agencies etc but nothing

So where do you look?

I'm having the same problem at the moment . I've been in my current job FAR too long and it's definatly time to move on, but there just doesn't seem to be anything around at the moment does there?

I gave my agency a call today, but she said that it was still early in the year and hopefully things will pick up soon.

As for where to look, well i've also been looking daily on NJ, but not really sure where else to look tbh. It's been nearly 10 yrs since i've needed to look for a job, so i also could do with a few pointers from any other nannies on here .

agencies are rubbish. I got my new job through gumtree, same as all the nanny jobs Ive ever had. have you tried looking at jobcentre website? v occasionaly comes up good. also greatcare is quite good, Ive had a lot of responces from my posted cv

oh i never thought of looking on the jobcentre site. I'm off to have a look now!
