Hi mummies

I'm currently on maternity leave and will be going back to work 3 days a week.
My first 2 children will be at school when I go back ( 4and 5 year olds)
I just found out I wouldn't be able to get any help from universal credit for my third child.

I really want to go back to work and just wondered is there any other alternative help I can get for the third child? I'm a single mum.
Thanks in advance for your help and advice would appreciate it.

Have you entered childcare costs and other details into an online calculator like Entitled.to?

It says up to £1108 in childcare costs if you have 2 or more children.
could it be that you won't get the child element(as per the rules) for your 3rd child but could still claim the child care costs?
I'd ask to speak to a work coach to find out.

How about tax free childcare , so for every £8 you put in you get £2 paid for my the government towards Ofsted registered childcare.
