Hi

Just wondering if anyone had successfully managed to get an Au Pair on a student visa? Trying to get a new one for next year but until now have only had Europeans so wondering if anyone else has made it work and where their Au Pair studied.

Thanks

Nope. You cannot get one at the moment. No au pairs!

I think they'd need the overseas domestic worker visa. www.gov.uk/overseas-domestic-worker-visa

Or youth mobility scheme visa www.gov.uk/youth-mobility

If you hire an Overseas Domestic Worker you need to pat national minimum wage and no au-pair rates

You have to already be working for your employer for a year to be eligible for the overseas domestic worker scheme.
