Help! How/where do I find a nanny for an autistic 3yo?

Any advice welcome! Based in West Midlands so agencies don't seem to be so much of a thing here. Have put a profile on Childcare.co.uk but no messages yet. Should I put an hourly rate on? So far it just says what hours we need and that we can be flexible on days. Totally new to all this so any advice is appreciated Smile

I would put as much info on as possible, so if you can put on a gross salary do so. I would also use the system to search for nannies, say within a 5 miles radius, sorted by last login date, and contact those whose profiles seem promising.

Try care.co.uk best for finding a paid for and experienced one able to deal with any special needs.

Agree with everything Nick said.

Be clear in your profile and give full information.

Actively seek out nannies and send messages, don't just wait for them to contact you.

Make sure you're a paying member, people can't send you messages if you're not and they're not.

Try Sennies or Snap care who specialize in SEN nannies
