Taking money out of tax free childcare account

Does anyone know how to do this? It seems to be possible from what I've read (appreciate the Government's top up is also withdrawn accordingly.)

But I can't see how to actually do it anywhere. I don't want to withdraw the whole amount, just some of it if that makes a difference.

If the only choice is to withdraw all of it do that and put whatever you don't need back in again.

I bloody hate It though, I have to get the calculator out each time to work out how much I need to put in and always seem to get it wrong for one child but not the other. Last month I paid childcare an extra 48p just so I could start from a clean slate this month.

I can't even work out how to do that! I'm either missing something or it's really not very clear!

I'm the same, have ended up with a lot more than I need in there and have something else that I could use some of the money for now.

You can withdraw a portion. I think it is in manage account next to your child's name and then make a withdrawal.
