Hi there
We've had some help from a family friend but now want to make this a mote regular thing and employ her. However she doesn't have any qualifications. Does she need to have these to set her up as an employee or to use a service such as nanny paye? Thanks

No.

You will need their National Insurance number and their full name. If they have had employment elsewhere since 6th April 2021 which they have left, then ask them for P45 part 2&3. Otherwise they complete a New Starter Checklist/P46 (that form will be available from the payroll company, often one is in a starter pack).
