When do I apply for the 30 hours?

Hi,

I have a 3 year old and was working 10hours a week. He goes to nursery in the mornings for his 15 funded hours.

I've just been offered 25 hours a week at work. I understand this means I will be eligible for 30 hours free childcare (my husband works full time and we don't claim any benefits).

My question is - can I apply mid-term? Or does it have to be at a certain point in the year?

Thank you

You can apply mid term I think, but the funding won’t apply until the next term (ie September) as youve missed application deadline for this term

Thanks very much - I thought this might be the case.

Get your code now and book the place....renew your code in 3 months....thats your responsibility so don't forget.

If you're quick (and DC turned 3 before 1st April) then you can get it for this term. The census date for this term hasn't passed yet.

Ah scrap that. I think the code needed to have been applied for before 31/3
