Hi everyone,

What help will I be entitled to if I was to work part time?

You should be able to get help childcare fees from universal credits up to 80%. But you have to pay the fees first and then claim it back from them afterwards. There is also tax credits so you pay 80% of fees and government top up the other 20%. You can not use both schemes at same time.
Once your child is 3 you will be entitled to the 15 funded hours or 30 if you work more than 16 hours a week. Some people on benefits or low incomes can also get funding from age 2.
