Hi Ladies,
Im new to this site and still pregnant with the wee one but I like to plan in advance
Im wondering what was your solutions for childcare for a 2 year old? Im in Scotland but I only could find articles for kids between 3-4 or over (or close to) 2 years old.

We don't have relatives so its only my partner and myself.

Thanks for any advice in advance

I returned to work when ds was 2+2. I chose a childminder close to my work, who had three other children of roughly the same age.

It was a lovely home setting, she had 30 years experience, was paired with two other child minders to cover emergencies, and ds took to her immediately. She was less expensive than a nursery and care was very good. I also learnt to trust her judgement.

Being close to work meant I was usually nearby, and the only time I had an emergency (train crash) , she calmly took it in her stride and held onto him until I got back 4 hours late. It was great for us Smile
